Law in Contemporary Society
I am in law school because I was told that the experience would promote a different kind of thinking. I have this enduring fear that, from around high school until now, I have not actually learned anything. I have felt myself become more knowledgeable, generally speaking, but I still feel doubtful about my ability to hold an informed, genuine conversation using my own words and ideas instead of someone else's. I can't blame the educational 'system' for this—I have had exceptional teachers and professors. I hope to sort this out in three years at CLS.
