Law in Contemporary Society
To be honest I was, and still am, not entirely sure of the specific reasons why I wanted to come to law school. It was a plan that floated around in the back of my head when I was in high school and college, and after a few years out of college, I realized I was ready and desirous of taking that step. My expectation and hope was that it was the kind of pursuit that I would be good at, as well as a challenging and rewarding one which I would enjoy. My actual goals in law school are still hazy, outside of a desire to be able to use the skills I learn to make a difference in an area I care about. The possibilities and opportunities law school offers to explore many topics of interest in order to further refine what that area might be is also a major reason why I am here.
