Personal Introduction
It seems that choice and identity are increasingly structured by market processes.
But it only seems that way.
I want law school to incubate my social consciousness, so that I can be an authentic and engaged participant. While I am uncertain about the direction of my career, whether it even involves the legal profession, I seek viable outlets for my values.
Perhaps values don't have outlets? Perhaps who we are is not
entirely determined by what we express?
I hope to experience a legal curriculum that challenges perspective on social relations and develops capacity to articulate positions. I look forward to interacting with a community that represents diversity in possibilities and inspires pursuit of the ends we each choose.
When you write "interacting with a community" do you mean "talking to people"?
