Law in Contemporary Society
I suppose I came to law school to find a purpose. Until now, my academic and professional life has focused on the study of politics. I found the field interesting, but unfulfilling; I could see the need for meaningful social change, but as a student lobbyist or legislative aide, I never felt fully equipped to do anything about it. Regardless of how naive it might sound, I have always wanted to attend law school to make a difference. A semester later, my personal goal is to simply find a field of law that is personally satisfying and somehow socially valuable.
