Law in Contemporary Society
I decided to attend law school because I’d spent the last three years teaching in under-resourced public schools and saw many of the difficulties faced by both the children and adults in low-income communities. I also realized that, in the classroom, I would never be able to affect the change that is necessary to solve these huge problems.

I hope that law school will help me gain skills and tools that will allow me to participate more effectively in the effort to solve domestic poverty and poverty related problems.
