I decided to go to law school in order to help people. My direct exposure with the law was a result of my parents’ divorce and custody battle. My siblings and I met with a child advocacy attorney to gage our interests in the matter. I realized that the juvenile interests are not taken seriously in society. Children are treated poorly because they are children and face difficulty defending themselves and their interests. I have worked with children in volunteer capacities and would like the opportunity to do the same in a legal atmosphere.
