Personal Introduction

Men with guns, men with money, and men with ideology are the ones who wield power in Lebanon. Disillusioned with my country, I chose to pursue my university studies abroad. I didn’t always intend to become a lawyer: my BA is in Economics and my PhD? is in Philosophy. However, once it dawned on me that I wanted to be a change maker, not an observer, I chose to apply to law school. I don’t want to kill, corrupt, or brainwash – unlike many in my country (and the world) – but I do want to persuade.
