Personal Introduction

My name is Ashley Marceus and I am from West Palm Beach, FL and graduated from the University of Florida. I am of Haitian descent and speak Haitian Creole and French. I am interested in a legal career of providing civil legal aid to indigent and oppressed communities of color. Before law school I worked with Lee County Clerk of Court as a specialized community court clerk helping pro se litigants understand and apply local and state civil procedure to their cases. I look forward to seeing the practical application of the law to modern issues through this course.
