[CPC] New Version of Google Desktop Search Uploads Info to Servers

Last year's "Law in the Internet Society" class list saw a debate over
the privacy implications of Google's Desktop Search application. I
argued that it was a non-issue as long as Google continued to keep the
information on the user's own computer. This condition is no longer met,
as of the latest version of the software. This means that users who
update their software will have every piece of personal information on
their computers indexed on Google's servers (presumably uploaded over an
unencrypted stream).
