Re: Perfect Storm for new privacy laws

I can't get the link to work, but anyway, this relates to what I was
trying to suggest in an earlier post.  Democracy may prove to be an
effective cure for problems with identify theft.  Data companies
will soon find themselves subject to real regulation if
ChoicePoint-type scandals continue.  A lot of voters (and now,
apparently, members of Congress as well) are getting pissed about
this issue.
