Wired: Surveillance Works Both Ways

Great article relating to what some raised in class today. Surveillance working both ways is an idea I find it hard not to support. Then why isn't it overcome? Doesn't society as a whole have property interests in being captured on film? Perhaps not in GAP, but surely on their front lawn..... Why is this such a hard argument to make?
