Re: An Update on Free Software in Brazil

The same is happening in Venezuela where by national presidential  
degree Hugo Chavez has turned public administration into an exclusive  
user of free software.

The Decree does take into account software already purchased by the  
administration. The shift is scheduled to come full circle by 2008.
